Children in Military Families are a unique population for Play Therapists. Due to deployment of parents, moves and the military lifestyle children face frequent loss and restructuring of their family system. Using videos of a military family with a deployed father we will explore the use of differing Play Therapy theories and interventions with individual family members, dyads and the family as a whole.
